Dear Food and Wine Lovers,
Tasting a wine from Burgundy means a journey of discovery through some evocative sensations. Like one of Proust’s madeleines, each flavor and nuance will plunge you into your memories : the smell of undergrowth in the fall, a roadside meadow when heading on vacation, and so on.
Come to The Grand Café for our Burgundy Dinner on Friday, February 24th. We will be serving wines from Chablis, the Côte de Beaune, the Maconnais, and Beaujolais. Each of these wines exemplifies the terroir. The symbiosis of grapes, soil, climate, vineyard placement, and human touch, all rolled into one. Burgundy is all about “terroir”
